Job Title: Senior Hardware Camera Engineer
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Hardware Camera Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of building stereo camera systems for AI applications, be able to procure the right hardware and assemble and interface the components to build robust, high-quality camera systems.
Responsibilities:
- Design and build stereo camera systems for AI applications, including procurement of hardware components, assembly, and interface development.
- Develop and implement camera calibration and testing procedures to ensure the accurate and reliable performance of camera systems.
- Work closely with the software engineering team to integrate camera systems with AI algorithms and optimize performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve technical challenges, and ensure project timelines are met.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in hardware and software technologies, and make recommendations for improvements to camera systems.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience designing and building stereo camera systems for AI applications, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality camera systems.
- Expertise in hardware procurement, assembly, and interfacing of components, such as image sensors, lenses, processors, and other relevant hardware.
- Strong understanding of camera calibration and testing procedures.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, and MATLAB.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to present technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Nice to have is experience in developing stereo camera systems for Autonomous driving applications, AR/VR applications, or Agricultural multispectral camera designs.
